If you had to change your name, what would your new name be?
If I had to change my name, it would be the initial alphabet of my name which is ‘A’. Simply ‘A’, however, I would retain my surname as it is something we carry throughout the generations, call it a ritual or a culture. I feel in the world where no name remains unique to people and is rather being shared among many, a single letter might do the trick.

However, it is a ‘might’, as one can be amazed by the number of people having the same thought across the world. From what I had heard in my later years, it was an interesting talk about naming me when I was small. The variety of names that had been suggested surprised me.
Many of them were quite good, while some I wish were not given even to my worst enemies. Although those whose suggested name stuck with me are not the people of my preference, and the name I really liked among the ones suggested, ended up being of one of my relative’s offspring, I guess I have accepted what I have been given. But, I surely wouldn’t mind turning it into a single letter none the less.
