How do you practice self-care?
Self care is a very complex term as it’s meaning varies from person to person. For many people it’s the ultimate external beauty and for some it’s what within us and for some it might be some kind of creativity. For me from very childhood i have seen the things which is making me amazing and happy is creativity.
So creating something new fresh be it art or dance even a video or a little bit of music. Creativity is undoubtedly something which is self-care for me from the urge of creating something to collection of resources to the process and then the final outcome and sometimes there are more steps as well. So in this busy schedule we try to have some time and create a piece of writing or an art piece or dance our heart out as these gives the sudden beauty of self acceptance and hence self care.
And this creativity helps in cooking creatively or decorating the room it’s all comes self healing and understanding the concept of self care. I paint a lot during lows or even when there’s some kind of unacceptability from my end painting keeps me motivated and glued in the process.
