Durga Puja is the celebration of everyone and everybody. It hardly matters whether you have new clothes to wear to new accessories to compliment rather it is the time to be together in sync working in merriment and too much positivity. Working for immortal blessings from God is said to be the purest time of the year.
Today let us see through the bioscope of this story how money or your luxury is irrelevant when it comes to simple joy.
Every year Mr and Mrs Roy go to visit the puja in their locality. Yes, they have 2 children but both of them are married and staying abroad for their profession.. so with time Mr and Mrs Roy Chowdhury’s bonds became very strong and they are their friends for life… Mrs Chowdhury was really against the matter of sending the children abroad to study but you know they wanted to study there .. study in a university which they dreamt of since childhood…
Mrs Roy Chowdhury didn’t eat for two days and was crying horribly.. for her the two sons meant everything and they both did everything to raise them now parting from them sounds difficult…
Months went by One evening Mr. Roychowdhury proclaimed his wife,
” See we have our own life we had so many dreams and aspirations and now that we have done our duty of raising our son it’s now our duty to enjoy life and give life a great chance ”
Worried Mrs Chowdhury listened to her husband carefully.. and knew she needs time to think what shall she do… After 2 days thought she agreed to Mr Roy Chowdhury’s proposal to enjoying life..
That’s the beginning and so every year they goes to trips and celebrates every festival with joy and became members of diffrent organisation to promote their cause.
Now it was the time of Durga Puja.. in their locality Mrs Roy Chowdhury only prepares the bhog of Maa Durga everyday and works very actively. In the evening they goes to visit pandals (puja).
It was ostomi day (8th Day)
They had to walk a certain distance to get into the bus … They planned to visit North Kolkata today .. the planned short Durga Puja trip ignited the couple..
But before they could actually see Maa Durga and reach a pandel something really beautiful caught their eye.. really beautiful something we can regard as nature’s creation..
A saw a really very poor family of 4 two kids, one who was still in the lap of the mother in standing position. The other one was walking.. the mother had leg issue and was having difficulty in walking.. her husband was holding her tight and took the son on his lap… She held her husband and kept on walking just to see MAA DURGA.
It was beautiful ❤️
Something what reality makes us to see feel and know in the World. Maa Durga with her four children killing the devil Mahisasura is the depiction of honest women in the society who fights for their family and does every bit for their children. That’s our Maa Durga.
Mr and Mrs Roy Chowdhury have seen the real Maa Durga with her family.
