In our life we meet lot of people, have lot of experiences and few experiences leaves an everlasting mark on us. Today, let us know the story of Swapna and Bastab the two individuals.. who met with marriage prospect but things changes as life had different plans for them..
It was a summer afternoon..
Swapna’s father called her from the downstairs and said since she is in college now, it is right time for them to search for the right groom.. swapna was 21. This was her last year of college and only one semester was left to complete her graduation.
Swapna was never ready for marriage like today’s generation she had numerous plans for herself like finding the right job for herself looking after her family and doing more courses and so many more.
Marriage and her father’s thought about it gave her initial silent panic. That evening itself she asked her mother what’s the scenario…
Things surprised her. But she knew she cannot do here much then letting the groom’s family come and visit them.
After three days the groom along with his family came to meet Swapna and her family. They went all fine between the families and it was supposed to talk between Swapna and Bastab (the name of the groom) … things turned out they liked each other but you know arrange marriages something which sometimes gets difficulty in joining the two threads of families…
years passed by and somewhere somewhat things settled for sujay in while whereas for Swapna only professionalism worked… means for her about 15 grooms came with a marriage prospect… either through reference or social media or marriage related website but sadly none worked.
Swapna is 36 and a teacher in a reputed school and still single…
Out of 15 grooms that swapna met only Bastab took her heart away.. she wont call it a love since how much she knows about her is a questionable affair still.. she just met and may be she dint felt the attachment the bond… the one she felt with Bastab .
Days passed by months passed by.. and Swapna thought where is Bastab now .. questions rolled into her minds… She continued sipping the tea.. and thought may be it’s her destiny to be single..
After completing her teaching one fine day she headed towards the nearest coffee shop.. these days she is becoming tired too soon.. may be thinking about how she has to manage each and everything single handedly .. the thought of taking care of parents and lots of responsibilities needed a good warm cup of cappuccino.
There she met a familiar person from behind .. structurally same whom she has met many years ago .. many years ago.. if she is not wrong it is Bastab . But how can she go and start talking.. after so many years.. what shall she say..
The most important thing he might be married now. Who knows …
With courage in mind and positive thoughts she approached and to her shock and suprised it was Bastab.. Her long lost story’s main character.
We don’t know what is waiting for us.. what plan the omnipresent has for us and with conversation over coffee and talks over little more coffee resulted in Bastab’s seperation from his wife leading to mutual divorce.
You know right when two persons didn’t got the time to talk and speak their heart out and now that they are getting married… Too soon too fast! The only thing is Swapna has to travel and settle in some other state…
And they happily stayed ever after.
In today’s world what is important is finding the right person for yourself and your family.. who will not only take care of you and your family.. and obviously vice versa.
What Bastab and Swapna has got is because they intended it so much
