History of Chunargarh Fort

Hello everyone welcome back to our website where you find authentic stories with authentic photography and authentic paintings. As we all know this website is handled by 2 persons who are everything on the website. Anuran purely writes short stories which create a ripple in your mind and very much  relatable. On the other hand Sayoni writes authentic stories and sometimes facts based from their own country. Today it is a blog on a real story around a historical temple of India that is Chunargarh Fort.

Chunargarh Fort is the historical heritage of India which is close to the mountain ranges. It has been the source of battles, rules and kingship.

The fort has been ruled by rulers like Emperor Kalyavan of Mahabharata period, Emperor Vikramaditya of Ujjain who ruled the whole world, Prithviraj Chauhan, the last emperor of Hinduism to Emperor Akbar Sher Shah Suri.

So Emperor Vikramaditya renovated Chunargarh temple to protect Yogiraj Bhatrihari and built a fort.

Yogiraj Bhatrihari was buried in this fort, even today he has his tomb in this fort. It is believed that the soul of Yogiraj Bhatrihari is still seated on this mountain. People from neighbouring areas and around have sensed his presence.

Many ascetics have done penance on the land of Chunargarh. This mountain (fort) is a witness to the yoga of Naina Yogini, the spiritual practice of Yogiraj Bhatrihari.

In the present time, this fort got immense fame due to the famous magic novel Chandrakanta Santati by Babu Devkinandan Khatri.

That’s the story and if you know something else also please don’t hesitate .. let’s spark the comment section.

Thank you
