What makes you happy?

Happiness is a very subjective term. What is happiness for you may not be happy for you. hers. Happiness is a very personal term. But the most important thing here is optimism. Optimism is the most important thing or the essence when it comes to happiness. It is said your hurdles will come, and there will be risk factors but when you have genuine optimism you are already on the positive side of being happy.


How to deal with optimism in the work sector?

Be positive –

What happens is we lose hope very easily. The main thing is to be positive. What if a project doesn’t work? You will work in 10x and get the result much more. What if you don’t qualify to study somewhere you have probably been for a long time? You will enter some other college and study harder and get the best result among all the students. See in life it’s very important to think breathe and be positive because in a serious condition doctors also leave hope and say to be positive and pray to God.


Know that there will be many people to demotivate you but you should stick to your goal –

In the corporate sector, it is very important to know and study the nerve of the people and know exactly what is required and what is not. Since in a team there will be many people who will be very much ready to demotivate you in every way. But why? Because of jealousy. Jealousy is an important factor in the corporate sector. Jealousy happens because of position, salary, and a lot more.


Always think of plan B while being in a job –

An optimistic attitude is also important for being future-ready or futuristic. An optimistic attitude is very important and after the Covid pandemic outbreak, it should be injected into everyone’s mind that a plan B should be kept ready for an employee firing incident. These should be kept in mind after big companies like Amazon, Byju and Twitter, and others whose companies have fired their employees and we know these all are the result of the Covid pandemic. So it’s very very important to be ready with plan B.


So these are the most important steps to being happy in a workplace atmosphere. Here are some of the points to be happy and optimistic from within.


Meditate

Learn to be calm and you will always be happy” – Paramahansa Yogananda

This may sound a bit cliche and boring but actually few cliche things are so important and provide the best result if practiced every day and meditation is one of them. It highly matters what your age is, what matters is whether you are meditating. Even if you meditate for 15 minutes it’s of high value. Meditation brings positivity because it shows you are rooted and calm. Meditation also helps us to understand that these materialistic worlds are temporary but in reality we should focus on ourselves. Meditation helps us to be positive and also reflect calmness.


Practice hobby –

Surround yourself with what you love, whether it’s family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, or whatever. – George Carlin

A study showed more than 60 percent of the total people who took part in the study love their hobby more than their job. Hobby brings happiness. Hobby helps you to indulge in something which perhaps you never have done or completed in a race. Hobbies are done or practiced joyfully. Some of my hobbies are- gardening, dancing, singing, swimming lots more. Hobbies help to have a balanced way of living in this world.


Be close to your family and friends –

In this job-oriented and competitive world, we must stay close to our close ones. This is the thing the covid pandemic has taught all of us. Because a job means there will be ups and downs and many more things which perhaps bring sadness and depression. As there is almost no one to calm you down or hug you. Many people are strong enough to make such a decision also in their life. But sometimes it’s difficult to manage such a situation. These things are important so that we take the decision accordingly.
