Indian temples and their mysteries

Hi everyone today welcome to Early Morning Memories and we are going to say two spiritual temples in India which are more than just temples.

There are many mysterious temples in India, in which Kodungallur is famous for the Bhagavathy Temple which is known as Kurumbakavu Bhagavati Temple. The temple has a royal outlook that mainly attracts tourists.

There is an idol of God Bhadrakali who is described in mythology as another powerful form of ‘Adi Shakti’. The eight-handed wooden idols are six feet in height. The idols of Veerabhadra and Ganapati are also there in the temple.

Local people would believe that Parashurama, the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu built this temple to make his followers more prosperous. Many enthralling historical stories are surrounded with the creation of this temple such as a Devotee of Bhadrakali named Kannaki got merged with the idol of the goddess during her prayer.

Thus, It is one of the best Mysterious temples in Kerala.

The next is The Bullet baba temple of Jodhpur Rajasthan was built in Bandayi village, around 40 kms from Jodhpur. Here, devotees gather to worship a Royal Enfield Bullet motorbike, which is inside a glass box with its front open and decorated. People, who pray here for a safe journey, claim that the bike has supernatural powers.

But why ?

The story behind this goes like, a local youth, Om Banna, died in a road accident  on his 350 cc Royal enfield bullet by dashing against a tree as he is claimed to be drunk.

Since then his spirit is believed to be protecting other drivers and preventing them from meeting the same fate. After the accident the bullet has been seen on the accident site.

Locals claim they have seen the ghost of ‘Om Banna’ – a bike without a rider.

From that day onwards the bullet is being protected in a temple and beer and flowers are given as offerings.
