Decroly is the pioneer of inclusive education in Belgium. He initiated the framework of special child education system, and gave assurance of systematic development of a child’s personality.
This education system encourages individual interest, need and freedom which came to be known as the Decroly method.
He established the Institute of Abnormals in 1991.
This education is a prolific method of education where equality prevails.
