Medha picked her office bag, checked whether it had her wallet, then she checked her phone in her pocket and stepped into the small compound towards the entrance and her eyes caught something.
‘It happened again,’ she thought standing for a second and then she walked closer
‘What is it this time’ she thought and it was a towel
Medha looked at the first floor of the house next to her house, no one was present on the balcony. Medha handed the towel to her mother. They didn’t exchange any words about it because it was something correctly assumed.
Medha’s mother would call Mrs Dattani about the towel and in the evening Mrs Dattani would come by to get it and she would have a cup of tea along with a long or short conversation depending upon the time she had in hand.
Something or the other would fly off Mrs Dattani’s balcony and land here, twice or thrice a month. Was it always an accident or sometimes a wilful coincidence, nobody wanted to know at this point because it had become a wonderful part of life.
