Book Launch we went to part 2

In our first book launch series I discussed how the idea about launch attending stuck into my mind and we went and here in this I would like to narrate how it was in the second book launch we went to.

This honest series will help many to take the lovely initiative of going to book launch event in India and abroad

So this time it was A book by a Bengali author named Lopa Ghosh and The name of the book is Age of Mondays which was published by Harper Collins Fiction India.

We had to go to a very famous bookstore branch in the Greater Noida area of Uttar Pradesh and the book store is Kunzum

We as usual reached there much before time and had the opportunity and time to scrutinize  books. Heaven full of books. This particular bookstore is three storyed.

First ground floor which had 2 cafes.

Second a floor entirely dedicated to penguin books of all branches and sub branches

The third floor is completely dedicated to Harper Collins

And lastly the fourth floor is dedicated to the exhibition hall and open spaces

We were supposed to reach the third floor of Harper Collins as the book was published by Harper Collins.

After a short tour of the bookstore we went back to the Harper Collins floor and took our seats.

We noticed the volunteers were arranging the seats and serving hot warm coffee which was so much needed .

The author was also present there by then with her family, close ones and her family.

The whole looking forward to the event looked so good and superb we were looking forward to the event with so much excitement and enthusiasm

The event of the book launch started around 6pm evening

It was such a wholesome experience to the core. Famous theatre artists came up and narrated the book along with the author and the journalist.

Learning experience of Kolkata and its adjoining area. The book was of Themes like – isolation, child-like innocence and so much more. The author signed everyone’s copy and it was worth a visit

A beautiful day it was
