The memories that stay with us and the ones we create…

Who is there?

On some instances when I am out or at home, I feel like someone is watching or waiting. This presence reeks of darkness trying to consume the light out of everything. The presence interferes with the thought of mind, demanding attention, absorbing the capacity of mind to think of something else.
This entity, this presence, this person does not have anything cordial in the series of thought that he has decided to keep in his mind. He is standing and waiting for that moment of lapse in the awareness of mind, with actions in mind whose subsequent outcomes are not immaculate.


He has given it thought and time, he has learnt to predict the actions and the reactions. He has rehearsed it countless times in his mind. His belief in his strength and ability grows by the second.


Me, the defenseless potential victim am trying to hear that sound of warning in the silence or am looking for the out of the ordinary movement on the streets or in a public establishment. I try to console myself to continue on with my life ignoring the presence, but the fear of my mind, returns becoming aware of this person who is perhaps nothing but what my mind has created from fragments of my own fears.
