India is a cultural Nation with lots of diverse in value, place of visit, religion and anthropological experience. These all diverse together gave rise to creativity all around the nation and dance is among the most creative one. From North to South India to East to West India dance has always been a potential creativity.

What is Dance?

Dance is a creative expression or way of expressing oneself with the use of body movements and expressions. In India there are 8 classical dance forms and 35 folk forms which was evolved through different experimentation and impromptu activities. With dance what goes hand in hand is expression and movements which connects instantly with your audience or yourself.

Usefulness of Dance

There are many usefulness of Dance which are mentioned below:

1. Physical workout

2. Focus on your activities

3. Learning a new skill

4. Makes yourself happy and who watches you to dance.

5. Improves body flexibility.

6. Makes you knowledgeable in the arena of dance.

7. Helps you to attain spirituality in the most organised way.

These are the few usefulness of Dance which gives to one who performs it and who sees the person to perform. Dance is an enigmatic joy. The joy from within. It’s a mode of expression which is so intriguing and interesting that it can lead a non dance in the heavenly abode.

  1. Reading this post reminded me of Art of Living Basic course now renamed Happiness Course I did in April 2000. In one of the sessions, music is played and you are encouraged to dance with its rhythm and then you are asked to close your eyes and keep standing at a place and dance with your body only, as if you are a tree and urged to feel the music deep inside and then the music stops but you keep swaying with the ‘inner music’. It was such an invigorating exercise. Had loved it. Went down memory lane reading this post on music,
