What’s the biggest risk you’d like to take — but haven’t been able to?
Hey, today is a beautiful day and here we are going to know all about your mindset while taking a risk.
Risks ! You know what according to scientists and researchers it is said that most people have a side of risk taking which means we just take time or may be we don’t need time at all. Being adventures is a feature in a criteria.
We will understand this concept with the help of a short story of Meenakshi.
The tea cup was very hot and after she served everyone else she took hers and sat on the sofa. She was thinking. She was thinking so much that in the absence minded state of hers she poured four spoons of sugar in the tea.. whereas everyday she only adds 1 table spoon only. Suddenly got distracted with the calling bell sound and the cup still laid on the table she went off to work with her chores and her chores included filling up the bottle, picking up the flowers, deciding and sometimes cooking the lunch and many more.. she went off to work..
But what was she thinking about? Meenakshi was thinking about her school days her aspirations during the school days…
yes! There are so many things which she used to think about those times.. so often the teacher used to ask to write an essay on your goal in life, Your dream in life or what you want to become… Could she become any of those? Could she fulfill any of her dreams she wrote for herself or for her parents? Could she fulfill her parents dreams which they saw and believed that if none then it’s their daughter always who will make them proud.. could she?
She thought and thought and this resulted in her reaching to the old book self of hers where she kept all her aspirations written.
Number 1 was To make parents proud
Number 2 To work professionally
Number 3 Be positive and never forget about the hobbies
Number 4 Accept change and eradicate caste system especially when it comes to education
Number 5 Be logical and matured
She read them out and read many more things like a short message or doodle writing in the last page of notebooks..
She cried a bit .
After being married for past 5 years it indeed started to seem long and being only a homemaker challenges her dreams. It’s not that homemakers have less job or something manageable but she has promised her parents and most importantly herself to stand up for herself do something… How could she even accept when her in laws said nope you cannot work professionally after marriage… Nope! You know so much work is there to do! It’s not that she accepted and didn’t try to explain them.. she tried but she failed and accepted it to be her fate!
This moment and all the things happening chronologically started giving her an impulse of doing something. She explored and figured out to teach to young children…
Thus her story began .
She had to take a step and she did it ..
Do you want to take a step? Take it today who knows may be this writing was to inspire you to take a step today .
Hope every woman take a step just like Meenakshi.
