From the very childhood I wonder and wonder and why and who has invented the mirror?
A discovery by the great German chemist Justus von Liebig in 1835 made mirrors widely available to people. Liebig found a way to coat glass with a thin layer of metallic silver by depositing the metal directly by means of a chemical reaction.
This I have read long ago from a book where inventions were discussed.
But what if our reflections could talk and what if we could Converse all the time? Then what would I ask to my reflection and what would she reply of.
My reflection is my doppelganger but the thought and the reality might be conflicting at times. This when dealt can be very interesting at times.
If the reflection could speak the one thing might be pertaining which is why you are having dark circles? Why you seem tired at the days end.
And it’s the hardwork that we put into ourselves, the plan the dream which we have to make it into a reality..
May be we would chat a bit over coffee and toast and may be play a music or two.. we would perhaps talk to our past present and future… Whatever it is our agenda is facing our reflection is important

Interesting thought. I too penned a poem, in Hindi, for my wife, where she is talking to the image in the mirror about herself.
Treating the reflection as a doppelganger is unique.
