Be Alert

Each and everyday the Door bell rings some are of our need and some are not.

Today the door bell rang again… Ting tong and it was someone stranger..

Mitali haven’t seen such a strange face ever before.. The long nose, squint eyes and very fair. It was a woman.

Mitali is a school girl who reads in class 6. It was asked to Mitali to not to speak to strangers as it might get risky and uncanny. Mitali as directed by her mom she peeped through the balcony and seen the woman again…

The woman was selling some spritual books to kids ..being from a very disciplined family she never knew to say no.. she wanted the books for the sake of reading..but there wasn’t any way out ..so she had to say no..

At night her mother explained how much it’s risky if we move out and talk to strangers.. everything is fine in the presence of known adults.

So be aware.

  1. Short and sweet and with a lesson for kids. Loved the theme.
Sayaoni, you write well but I feel you need to read your stories and revise if needed before finally posting. I think some minor changes can take your stories a few notches high. Just my 2 cents, but as I had said earlier, everyone has her/his style. Keep writing.
