Lucky!

Hi,

Do you know the best way to understand how much privileged you are is to visit the nearest charity house or old age home and see. Just observe the situation there.. to understand what they have and in that less resources and less enjoyment in life .. they are smiling.

Often we complain like Meghna. The lead character of our today’s story. Meghna often complains her not having a good library, not having fashionable clothes and many more.. complaints! Her parents who understands her best.. makes her understand in the best possible way to have materialism in the side line… That there are many people who Are not privileged like her. There are many people who are deprived of even basic needs of life and have to deal with chronic disease or birth related diseases.. even there are old people who have to deal with old age home staying after old age… We are privileged.

But you know life explains you beautifully when you feel difficulty to understand.

It was Saturday morning and Meghna was packing her school bag .. her mother was preparing a bit of her lunch quick and fast . She was packing but it was awesome that she didn’t had to carry books .. they were going for the annual school excursion.

The authority has planned for them to visit the famous Missionaries of Charity in the metropolitan city .. the curious mind wanted it all to enjoy cherish and understand.

The bus was supposed to arrive at the school premises at around 7am. With excitement and joyous pace every student boarded the bus on time. Meghna was curious too.. excitement popped up her heart and she knew the day is going to a learning experience..

They reached the place but instead of normal welcome they received welcome from the people whom we don’t see much… People with difficulty in working normally everyday due to their bodily ineffectiveness was smiling because they knew they are living in this world and breathing and that’s enough..

All of them had a smiling face.

Meghna along with her friends started talking with them and felt none were complaining about their disabilities. None. All were smiling. They are beaming with exuberant joy when this particular school came to meet with them.. the students of the had bought daily necessary items like – toothpaste, soap, oils and many more… They were happy with only this much.

What we think of this much only is a huge thing for some other. So taking each day as hurdle is unacceptable. Life is simple.. and we are lucky to whatever we get.. Meghna understood everything.. with teary eyes they all also enjoyed the program they hosted for them.

While returning they also bought few tokens that they have made. So beautiful.

Like Meghna and her friends we fail to understand the reality of life. The joy of life it has.. we fail… Going to these kind of places teaches us, preaches us and helps us to understand our purpose of life.

Meghna is lucky to understand.. after returning from the school excursion she immediately hugged her parents.. she understood That her situations are Lucky.

That’s it for today !
