Each Village Story

January is coming to an end and with January we assume that the bitter chilly cold will be in a controlling state.

Well today and let us know how little Mohan who be the bundle of joy for the entire village.

How?

Let us know in the story.

Mohan, the nine year old boy of an interior village .. used to stay with his parents and little sister.. being in class 5 and ten years old he was very matured then his age and thus the road the surroundings of village taught him the struggle of life …the hardships.

His father was a grocery shop owner which was located in the roadside area.

And throughout the day all and every action of Mohan and his family depicted hardships and strong will. It was not just his family it was all family.. a continuous habit of everyone to struggle otherwise there was no shortcuts.

”Do you know It takes 30 minutes walking to reach my school” said Mohan to the Local counsellor once he visited house to house 🏠 for some pre election formality.

He nodded and due to lack of time he had to go and focus on severe problems of the village and not just Mohan’s personal problems.. that time Mohan’s problem seemed trivial and ignorable to the local counsellor…The village needed lot of work to be done…The village was being renovated like roads constructed better and much more..

People in the village got employment too for all the village development took place…in a series.. it was all seemed active and positive.

Little Mohan wandered when will his own problem be sorted..when will he get a bicycle to reach to school…

Mohan always wanted a bicycle because he knew a bicycle can help his family multiple way.. he could reach school early and bring grocery and stationery items for the family whenever required.

But all seemed busy for the overall growth of the village..

Mohan kept on thinking… Do we not contribute to the overall growth of the village? If every children has a cycle then everyone would perhap reach their destination faster and thus saving lot of time in the long run.

Like me there are countless number of children who are unable to go to school faster…may be many cannot even go to school… cycle for him seemed a solution for many problems.

Mohan thought…and slept off…that particular night.

Few days back again… again the counselor came to assure if the development work was going good..

Mohan and his 7 group of friends went to him and said we don’t have a cycle..we cannot reach school faster..also we want to study and make our village developed.

The counselor smiled and went in search of his next task.

Probably he remembered his own hard days.

Today Mohan is 46 and never got a cycle but he has a car, a house and lot more amenities.

How?

Mohan became the Counselor of the village and his primary concern was to have cycle one atleast for every family.

One can change the perspective

One can help to start .

Mohan could do it because he has Worked hard.
