A Wish he cannot forget

I came back home

Tired and exhausted.

My wife gives me cup of tea

Which I eat in a minute’s joy.

The dark sky paved a pathway towards our dark and mysterious mode of communication.

We were not talking.

Nothing much just something very trivial like not receiving the call in time.

We were doing what we were supposed to do . All and every task. But not talking.

Today the house felt very silent.

Like I was missing something was it the urge to talk to my wife or or perhaps my wife’s voice… Or may be to talk about the day!

Well, we all need right someone to talk our heart out at the days end.

May be…

Or may be I was missing all and everything at once..

I went upstairs to change my office uniform to pajama set and may be a tshirt.

May be..

May be because everyday my wife keeps these dress on our bed..so that I can change. Today it seemed I should not expect anything.

I went upstairs and to my utter surprise.

My most favourite tshirt and the most worn out pajama set was kept ‘ironed’ on the bed.

I smiled .

Why? Sometimes when we don’t expect anything..life surprise us. And here was my surprise she kept my clothes but most amazing part was it was ironed.

But I..I never iron my pajama set…

I went to the washroom to freshen up myself. And came back to deserve another gift.

An half eaten chocolate

An untied bouquet and a letter…well it was handwritten.

I immediately understood it was my wife’s handwriting.

It was written..

”Well … Since I am your sole, registered lover in this whole world 🌎 and hence I have eaten the chocolate half. We should share everything that we have . From anger to food, to stories to everything.

Everything means everything. And yes I just shared my half eaten things…you know after all I am your better half.

Oh! Today is our 6th Valentine’s Day 💌 .

Happy Valentine’s Day.”

From,

Your better half.

That’s it.

No split

No conflict

Just a little suspense adds more to the joy.

Silence sometimes heals a lot.
