Mehak and Mina were returning from their tuition this Friday.
English literature.
English literature has taught them many things and one of the most important things is being sensitive and talking about every topic under the sun..
Literature of any subject helps you to learn the twists and turns of life, the agony and joy of life .. the solitude and chaos and much more….
Discussion about John Donne to Shakespeare to Rabindranath Tagore to Henrik Ibsen to Keats to Forester and lot more …. always seems an engrossing yet unfinished discussion..
It always says one who studies literature will always understand the shades of life, the situations of life… And the characterization of life… A true portrayal is always one with openness and clarity in discussion…
So you can understand how the tuition was for Mehak and Mina… Mehak and Mina both come to a certain point by walking to board auto for different directions … While walking…. Mehak said to Mina….
Mina.. do you know I often think … Often think of the fact that which one is our actual home? I was born in Chandannagar West Bengal and then in Another city we had our home town.. I was there till class 10.. then for class 11 and 12 went to a hill station to continue my education.. post school… I went to another state to pursue further studies and that is Bachelor in Art (B.A) English.. there also I had to be in a hostel… It was awesome… The hostel gave me a space to stay and also we created ample memories…
But completion of bachelor’s degree.. the next was masters and again … Life changes its position and so houses… And it becomes home.
It’s unpredictable how in our life we have so many homes to be in and to look after
…but what matters is our home .
Where our heart lies

Yes, perhaps in the handwritten form, two “n’s” can be misinterpreted as two “r’s”.

Sayoni, good post. I am at present very far from where I always thought home was. I am now living in Australia as my home country doesn’t feel like home to me anymore. I don’t feel welcome there. Australia is great, this is where I am making my home.
