So, my grandfather paid an unbelievable amount to get this clock and
it came here.
‘When I am gone, you are going to take care of the shop and the clock,
make sure both of them stay in the family unless it’s a matter of life
and death,’ my grandfather had told me, and that’s what I am doing.
Vikas nodded, “Given the amount spent to get it and then get it
repaired after all these years, it sure is one expensive clock.. for
your family at least. I understand, and I hope your grandparents are
happy to see it still here.”
Ashok used a cloth to wipe off some dust that had settled on the
clock, “I am sure they are happy.”
