A person means routine and how you are entangled in the routine depends on the person’s priorities.
And if you are extremely close to the person and the person is old …her routine almost becomes yours.
That’s the flow of life I believe.
Today, welcome to our blogging website and here I wanted to narrate a true story where bondings are showcased to be extremely strong and valuable… Where people are unknown and with time and purpose of life they or people rather come close to each other…weaving the story of life.
Today the characters of the story are Snigdha, Mrinalini and Pushpa.
Snigdha is the granddaughter- in- law of Mrinalini. When Mrinalini Debi met Snigdha for the first time..she somehow knew she was the perfect daughter in law for her and perfect wife for her grandson.
How? A few questions need not be answered. It’s understood.
Snigdha too understood the grandmother-in-law will be more like her own grandmother.
Things passed and they got married after 2 years.
Being from a nuclear family set up Snigdha always knew less people meant more bond with each of the people. And her caring side left no room for being less caring for her in-laws.
Through the duties of the caring bride she was slowly developing a neat and close bond with her grandmother in law.
All were there but this old woman had an extremely close place in Snigdha ‘s heart.
Somehow with her she combated her fears of a diseased person, medicines , bp machine, oximeter and other machineries. COVID happened and these were her basic needs.
As the doctor said every aspect of her should be well monitored the rise of bp meant something, the stomach ache meant something and so each and every aspect of the body should be written, noted and marked to be able to say to the doctor. All the family members of the house ..which comprised Snighdha’s husband and mother in law were very prompt with action as well as decisions.
Snighdha took all her office work necessities and made the bed of the grandmother at her working desk.
Things were not going too well…all had COVID but for an old person to tackle the same was more than a difficult situation.
But with everyone’s love she recovered. She knew she would recover and yes everyone else knew it too..
Days passed, years too and one evening after doing the regular Puja grandmother suddenly felt ill. Suddenly.
There was nothing from before .. she was completely fit and healthy. She walked back in the room..asked everyone to come and declare it was a happy moment… Somewhere something is being felt …. somewhere something being understood… With the intakes of the food …
She was no more.
That’s the story of life which Snighdha perhaps had to go through…the grandmother in law by the end became a close knit bond.
We often create bonds out of nowhere. They might be planned but how can we know it… We create bond with destined to our being but how much do we know.
Snighdha felt like a friend is no more. A routine has to be changed because from waking up to sleeping someone was always there.
Her friend.
Her story may be physically stopped. But what continued was her story. Story which will be transferred generation after generation…houses after houses and moments after moments.
Let’s remember
