If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I love to watch travel videos online. I always think that even with the means primarily being money, one cannot see everything and accepting that makes looking for the next alternative easier, which I found in all the creative travel videos the talented creators create for people. It’s quite the hard work, I have tried it; when you are focussed upon recording videos or clicking photos and doing them really well, you later realise ‘wait a minute I did not get to completely enjoy that feeling over there.’
So, what’s good about these travel videos? you get to see places, food, culture, seasons, means of transport, how a place far away from you lives and breathes, what it looks like to stand at a place completely unknown and look around. Obviously, it’s not a replacement for going there and breathing in the air and feeling the temperature, but visually it’s 10/10, rather sometimes the camera work with post editing is done so well that when you go to that place you find it a bit pale in comparison.
Hence, it is a very satisfying recommendation to go through these videos and let the world amaze you and also make better travelling choices.
‘If I could live anywhere, where would it be’. It is a question people ask a lot nowadays to each other but it is more about ‘you’ than ‘I’, I mean they usually want to speak of their choice but they would rather start with knowing yours, even sometimes going ahead and criticising it, if it’s a choice they don’t like. Now, this is very much reflected in social media. So many people who have moved from one country to another are making and posting videos to prove that they made a great decision; whom they need to prove to is only known to them.
I would be where I am right now, I never think of going and living anywhere else. There are a lot of places I would like to visit though, but that is all they will ever be, places for a visit. I have given it a thought, it’s not some emotional perception.
In order to add more of those feelings into the words, wherever I go, while I am on the road or in the train, I try to imagine the lives out there, ones that I would never know about. It could be good or it could be bad. But each place has its story and there is one happening right where you are, and it doesn’t need a change if it’s thriving well.
