Promises and its joy!

What’s a promise you made to yourself that you’ve actually kept?

From childhood we are taught to be in a certain way, dress like a certain way, and of course feel like a certain way too in some kind of situations.

Everything seemed pretty much pre-planned and hence a heap of promises actually kept on arising.

I made a lot of promises to myself from Being Financially independent very Early to looking after parents whenever they need me and as a routine and compulsory purpose of life

I also wanted to be a hobby enthusiast like I always practice dancing and art works in daily life that promise is being kept

Sometimes in life we learn things to keep up with our daily habits and promises for a better future or things which we want for ourselves

There are two types of promises I believe one is your personal family, hobbies and life in general and other one is professional

Personal is in our hands mostly but professionals are not fully in our hands . So we need to plan so that we achieve what we have promised to ourselves to pursue and be at

If we are true to ourselves promises are meant to be made and kept but if we believe promises are meant to be broken then not accepted

  1. A beautiful and heartfelt reflection. 🌸 I really enjoyed how you explored the promises we make to ourselves and how they shape our lives. Your distinction between personal and professional promises is thoughtful and realistic, reminding us that while we cannot control every circumstance, we can always remain true to our values and efforts.
