A Thought through Murky Waters

Growing up, it’s not just a physical occurrence, it is a set of very valuable experiences. These experiences are integral to establish a base for this person to form, this person who will remain at the core of our being for the rest of our lives.

We keep on building this person whether we realise it or not and yes, the realisation does hit us one day, what we have ended up becoming. The process is endless but like I said, the being at core remains, well of course if someone finds a good dose of will or motivation to change things around with focus on the better of it, then good for him/her but this is rare.

I used to think I have the basic idea of things and it’s always a good time to learn something new, but as you grow older you realise there is more to what you already know, there are various perspectives, there is more meaning, and the simple explanation that you had contented your mind and heart with may not be sufficient.

Almost everything has a touch of complexity. No, it is not by a certain design, or system, people have done it. The realisation is disappointing, at least to a person like me. All of a sudden, this realisation that the colours are fading as you are growing, because people simply forgot they are there for a reason and walked away.

I thought, everyone wants a simple, untangled life but most don’t follow the same with their actions. They ignore how deep they are jumbling up what could be simple. However, not all lives have to be this way, that’s a good thing and of course we have our free will and choices. We can always make the decision to live the life, yes live it, not drag it along the way like an old scooter neglecting its repair.
