What’s the worst travel experience you’ve ever had?
Travels add in our experience and of our life . We all know that traveling helps us to understand ourselves and reflect our own journey of life .
Today I have a short story about a very interesting travel experience of A young boy. Let us call our protagonist Banu.
Banu is a boy who is in class 8 and he is a single child of his parents Mr and Mrs Srivastava. After Banu’s exam his parents wanted him to visit a seaside place for mental refreshment and rejuvenation wholly.
So in West Bengal of India there are a lot of sea destinations for travel.
There’s a beautiful seaside destination called Digha .. they travelled via and created awesome memories in the journey. Banu stays in Hooghly district of West Bengal and digha is in 24 Parganas West Bengal and it takes around 4 hours to reach Digha via car.
Banu’s father loves to drive a car and of course he decided to drive to digha with his wife son and of course himself.
It was two days and one night trip only.
They travelled and it took around four hours. With a happiness jolt and all. Listening to each other’s favourite song and the urgency to look forward to the sea and with joy.
The first destination was a restaurant of food .. but alas Banu didn’t have his favourite food to taste available! So according to his parents he had to take crab curry which is very famous in that particular restaurant
Banu never tested crab curry in his entire life and this was something that seemed tempting to him and of course he wanted to taste too.
All of them had a sumptuous meal before they planned to continue with the rest of the journey
Soon after they started ! Banu felt a pain in his stomach. Like he wants to rush to the washroom
Banu’s father had to park the car by the side of a petrol pump and Banu rushed inside it.
After doing his work he came back and they started their journey
After more than 30 minutes in the same situation. Again Banu felt the sharp intensity and requirement to go inside the washroom.
This is a high way and from where banu will get a washroom?
Banu waited and said to his mother. ” Maaaa ! I cannot wait anymore. ”
He rushed into a residential house and pressed their calling bell and asked if he could use their washroom.
They were quite kind and were happy to let him use their washroom
Like this Banu requested yelled and forced to stop the car more than 8 times.
Yes craaaaaabbbb it did not suit his gut health.
And finally when they reached Digha he immediately rushed to the washroom and yes this was the most peaceful as they didn’t have to continue the next part of the journey.
Banu completed all his work in the washroom and knew only a proper medicine could help him to cease the pain.
Medicine helped him but yes this trip was not as expected. Banu spent the rest of the trip in the room and had very light soups .
Do you have a similar story like Banu? You can too share .

What an amusing yet relatable travel experience! Poor Banu must have had quite an adventure, though certainly not the one he had imagined. 😊 Your story beautifully reminds us that travel is full of surprises, and sometimes the most unforgettable memories come from unexpected situations. A little lesson for all of us: while exploring new destinations and cuisines, it is wise to be mindful of what our stomach can handle! Hope Banu’s next trip is much more enjoyable and trouble-free. 😄
